Titan Company surges on planning to open 14 outlets of Taneira

Titan is currently trading at Rs. 1089.00, up by 7.20 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 1081.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1096.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1100.15 and Rs. 1087.00 respectively. So far 39495 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1164.00 on 25-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 731.70 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1158.15 and Rs. 1075.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 96502.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.62% and 20.47% respectively.

Titan Company is planning to open 14 outlets of ‘Taneira’, the group’s premium sarees and ethnic wear category during FY20 taking the total to 18 by this year end. The company is expected to grow at 20% during the current fiscal.

Titan Company is an Indian designer and manufacturer of watches, jewellery, precision engineering components and other accessories including sunglasses, wallets, bags and belts.
