Mumbai, March 15 : The BSE Sensex on Tuesday slipped 106.52 points to 56,379.50 on profit booking by local operators. The Nifty too eased 23.20 points to 16,848.10. The Sensex registered the days high and low at 56,720.60 and 56,265.27 points respectively. The Nifty registered the days high and low at 16,927.75 and 16,807.65 points respectively. The Mid Cap moved up 0.67 per cent and Small Cap rose by 0.52 per cent. In 30 scrips, 19 advanced, 10 declined while one remained unchanged. The losers were Tata Steel by 3.16 per cent to Rs 1256.05, Infosys by 1.78 per cent to Rs 1857.05, Kotak Bank by 1.18 per cent to Rs 1767.90 and Tech Mahindra by 0.95 per cent to Rs 1488.70. The gainers were Maruti Suzuki by 3.49 per cent to Rs 7570, M& M by 2.58 per cent to Rs 762.80, Ultracemco by 1.50 per cent to Rs 6129.20, Bajaj Finserv by 1.14 per cent to Rs 15,850 and IndusInd Bank by 1.03 per cent to Rs 915.80 NV ACL1032
