Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) is planning for Market Borrowing Programme of the company for the financial year 2019-20. The Meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on March 20, 2019, to consider the same.
The funds under the above-mentioned Market Borrowing Programmes will actually be raised during the financial year 2019-20, with the approval of competent authority as per powers delegated in this regard, by the Board of Directors in the said Meeting.
REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric co-operatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
