Tata Power’s JV ties up with European firms

Tata Power-DDL, a joint venture (JV) between Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi, has tied up with European firms Enedis, Schneider Electric, Odit-e and VaasaETT to implement a 1-megawatt smart grid demonstration project in the national capital, which would be insulated from any blackout in the main grid. The project is planned to start in May 2019 and is expected to be completed by October 2022.

Tata Power Company is India’s largest integrated power company with a growing international presence. The company together with its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities has presence in all the segments of the power sector viz. Fuel Security and Logistics, Generation (thermal, hydro, solar and wind), Transmission, Distribution and Trading.
