DCM Shriram surges on commissioning 30 MW power plant at DSCL Sugar Hariawan Unit

DCM Shriram is currently trading at Rs. 459.20, up by 10.40 points or 2.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 448.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 460.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 465.35 and Rs. 457.45 respectively. So far 3930 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 500.00 on 06-Mar-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 222.55 on 16-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 469.90 and Rs. 430.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7160.87 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.53%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.09% and 21.37% respectively.

DCM Shriram has commissioned 30 MW Power Plant (including 22.5 MW exportable) at DSCL Sugar Hariawan Unit and the company has started selling power to the Grid with effect from February 28, 2019.

DCM Shriram is engaged in the business of fertilizer, sugar and caustic soda.
