Essel Propack surges on redeeming Commercial papers worth Rs 50 crore

Essel Propack is currently trading at Rs. 111.25, up by 1.95 points or 1.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 109.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 112.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 112.90 and Rs. 111.00 respectively. So far 3730 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 144.53 on 13-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 85.00 on 28-Nov-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 114.00 and Rs. 108.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3505.51 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.78% and 23.18% respectively.

Essel Propack has redeemed Commercial papers (CP) worth Rs 50 crore on March 13, 2019. Further, the company is going to redeem CP worth Rs 35 crore on March 14, 2019.

Essel Propack is a flagship company of the Essel group is a producer of plastic packaging material in the form of multilayer collapsible tubes and laminates used primarily for packaging of toothpaste, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, household and industrial products.
