Bajaj Auto gains on the bourses

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 2980.00, up by 8.95 points or 0.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 2971.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2942.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2989.20 and Rs. 2942.00 respectively. So far 57854 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3213.95 on 12-Jul-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2425.00 on 25-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3063.00 and Rs. 2942.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 86079.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.02% and 25.80% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has launched a new version of its Avenger Street 160 model equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS) priced at Rs 82,253 (ex-Showroom Delhi). The new Avenger Street 160 has a single channel ABS along with a roadster design headlamp with LED DRLs, new graphics with larger insignia, black alloy wheels and rubberised rear grab.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
