Tata Power inches up as its arm commissions 450 MWdc capacity solar plant for Brookfield Renewable India

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 233.50, up by 0.50 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 233.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 232.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 234.70 and Rs. 231.70 respectively. So far 312042 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.00 on 07-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 116.60 on 14-Jun-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 236.90 and Rs. 227.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 74451.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.03% and 26.11% respectively.

Tata Power Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary — Tata Power Solar Systems has commissioned 450 MWdc capacity solar plant for Brookfield Renewable India. The installation entails set up of over 8 lakh modules and was completed within record 7 months timeframe. The project will produce over 800GWh of clean energy annually and will help avoid up to 6 lakh tons of annual CO2 emissions.

Tata Power Solar comes with an extensive experience in executing distinguished EPC projects in the country. With the usage of 535 Wp and 540 Wp bifacial modules on a large scale. For smooth execution of the project, tractors and back loaders were used to support the frames, handle modules and higher capacity equipment. On-site infrastructure support and amenities were provided to the project workers to ensure improved productivity at site and speedier execution of the project.
