Reliance Industries’ telecom arm tops average 4G download speed chart in February

Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm — Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) has topped the average 4G download speed chart in February 2019. Jio’s 4G network registered an average download speed of 20.9 megabits per second (Mbps). Comparing with the performance of the peers, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone with a speed of 9.4 mbps and 6.7 mbps respectively, remained the nearest competitors.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
