Lumax Industries rises on acquiring assets, unsold inventory worth Rs 46 crore

Mumbai : Lumax Industries is currently trading at Rs. 1826.90, up by 24.10 points or 1.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 1802.80 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1826.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1826.90 and Rs. 1826.90 respectively. The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2585.00 on 07-May-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1386.00 on 28-Jan-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1865.00 and Rs. 1785.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1685.21 crore. The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.86% and 23.14% respectively.

Lumax Industries has acquired assets (including Plant & Machineries, Allied Infrastructures and Capital work in progress) for manufacturing of PCB’s for Rs 22.45 crore. The company has also acquired unsold inventory at Rs 23.94 crore. Both have been acquired from Lumax Auto Technologies. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on April 05, 2019 has approved the same.

Lumax Industries offers a wide array of complete automobile lighting systems and solutions, which includes; stellar quality Head Lamps and Tail Lamps, Sundry and Auxiliary Lamps and other related products.
