L&T rises on the bourses

Mumbai : Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 1363.00, up by 2.25 points or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 1360.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1361.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1370.70 and Rs. 1353.45 respectively. So far 213769 shares were traded on the counter. The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1459.10 on 21-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1183.40 on 23-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1390.45 and Rs. 1353.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 191177.99 crore. The Institutions holding in the company stood at 57.83%, while Non-Institutions held 42.17% stake in the company. The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given its approval for acquisition of electrical and automation business of Larsen & Toubro by Schneider and MacRitchie. However, the deal is subject to compliance of certain modifications. L&T is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over $18 billion in revenue.
