LIC Housing Finance spurts on reporting 17% rise in Q4 net profit

LIC Housing Finance is currently trading at Rs. 485.40, up by 0.30 points or 0.06% from its previous closing of Rs. 485.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 476.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 490.00 and Rs. 464.70 respectively. So far 112748 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 583.20 on 24-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 387.60 on 05-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 505.25 and Rs. 464.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24511.48 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.31%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.42% and 19.27% respectively.

LIC Housing Finance has reported a rise of 16.70% in its net profit at Rs 693.58 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 under review as compared to Rs 594.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.74% at Rs 4,655.14 crore for Q4FY19 as compared Rs 3,887.55 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has reported a rise of 21.40% in its net profit at Rs 2,430.97 crore as compared to Rs 2,002.50 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.99% at Rs 17,361.72 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 14,840.61 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
