Kopran zooms as its arm gets process patent for API product

Kopran is currently trading at Rs. 277.75, up by 6.90 points or 2.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 270.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 284.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 284.35 and Rs. 273.35 respectively. So far 52778 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 303.55 on 06-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 99.80 on 17-Mar-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 303.55 and Rs. 263.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1200.64 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.73% and 55.50% respectively.

Kopran’s arm has received process patent for API product. The Indian Patent office has granted Process Patent for 20 years to Kopran Research Laboratories, Wholly owned Subsidiary of the Company for the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) product NITROXOLINE, for the invention titled ‘improved, cost effective process for producing NITROXOLINE’.

Kopran is engaged primarily in pharmaceuticals business.
