Jet Airways grounds 2 more aircraft, almost 20% of aircraft out of operations

Jet Airways has grounded two more of its aircraft due to non-payment of lease rentals, taking the total number of planes on ground to 23. With the grounding of two more planes, almost 20 percent of aircraft in the airlines fleet are now out of operations.

The company was making all efforts to minimise disruption to its network due to the grounding of these planes and was pro-actively informing and re-accommodating its affected guests.

Jet Airways is India’s premier international airline, which operates flights to India and overseas. The company’s robust domestic India network spans the length and breadth of the country covering metro cities, state capitals and emerging destinations.
