Bank of India turns black in Q4

Mumbai : Bank of India has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019. The bank has reported a net profit at Rs 251.79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 against net loss of Rs 3,969.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 15.81% at Rs 12,417.08 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 10,722.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the bank has posted a net loss at Rs 5,546.90 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 6,043.71 crore for the previous year. However, total income of bank increased marginally by 4.78% at Rs 45,899.82 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 43,805.17 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, on the consolidated basis, the bank has posted a net loss of Rs 5,426.57 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 5,961.31 crore for the previous year. However, total income of bank increased marginally by 4.78% at Rs 46,268.85 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 44,158.69 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
