Vodafone Idea trades in green on the BSE

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 16.60, up by 0.50 points or 3.11 % from its previous closing of Rs. 16.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17.10 and Rs. 16.35 respectively. So far 536442 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 39.68 on 12-Jun-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 14.95 on 04-Apr-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.10 and Rs. 15.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46263.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.33%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.60% and 11.08% respectively.

Vodafone Idea will seek for its shareholders’ approval on June 6 to transfer optical fibre assets to a wholly-owned subsidiary –Vodafone Towers. The company has proposed to hive off its telecom fibre infrastructure to Vodafone Towers before monetising it and approached the National Company Law Tribunal Ahmedabad on April 11, 2019, for its approval.
