New Delhi : Domestic stock markets remained closed on account of the 76th Independence Day being a national holiday. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), both the major stock indices of the market, did not trade on Monday.

Similarly, foreign exchange market, futures and commodity markets were also closed today on the occasion of 76th Independence Day. Now on Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, both the major stock indices of the stock market, including BSE and NSE, will be trading regularly in the foreign exchange market, futures and commodity markets.
