SAIL gains on the BSE

Mumbai : Steel Authority of India is currently trading at Rs. 54.05, up by 0.45 points or 0.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 53.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 54.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 54.55 and Rs. 53.55 respectively. So far 194072 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 91.10 on 13-Jun-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 44.10 on 11-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 55.00 and Rs. 51.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22139.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.93% and 5.08% respectively.

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has come out with smart garbage bins made up of stainless steel which collect unbridled garbage and also send signals to the collection vehicles about the fill-up position. There will be separate bins for recyclable wastes and non-recyclable wastes.

A bin will be installed at a smart garbage station being developed by South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) at BhikajiCama Place in the national capital. Further, the bins will also be supplied to another garbage stations being developed in North Delhi by North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) at Kamala Nagar.

SAIL is India’s largest steel producing company. The company is among the five Maharatnas of the country’s Central Public Sector Enterprises. The company has five integrated steel plants, three special plants, and one subsidiary in different parts of the country.
