Mumbai: The 42nd Annual General Meeting was organized today by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) where the company’s chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani informed that till now Jio’s customers have reached more than 340 million.
It has also been informed that Jio has become the second largest telecom company in the world to operate in any one country. Along with this, information was also given about the plan of Jio GigaFiber. Customers will get the benefit of this broadband service at an initial price of Rs 700 per month.
During the AGM, Mukesh Ambani informed that customers with home broadband service Jio GigaFiber provide broadband speeds of up to 1GBPS, landline phones, ultra high definition entertainment, virtual reality content, multi-party video conferencing, voice enabled virtual assistant, interactive gaming, Home security and smart home solutions will be available.
During the meeting, information was given about Jio Fiber Service where Jio Set top Box was announced. In this set top box, all gaming controllers will get support, as well as here users will get O Latency Gaming Experience. At the same time, mixed reality (MR) support will be available in Jio Fiber. Through this, online shopping, education and entertainment can be experienced through VR headset.
Reliance Industry Limited (RIL), the country’s largest company, has given the biggest gift to the customers. Now you can make a video call with the help of a set top box sitting at home. For this, the set top box will be connected to Giga fiber network. According to the company, this will be a different kind of revolution in the digital age.
CMD Mukesh Ambani while sharing the vision of the company said that RIL will be a debt-free company in the next 18 months. Also, he set a target of 15 pc annual growth in the next five years. With this, live and retail businesses will be listed.
