Railway sector stocks gain after FM announces Railways will require investment of Rs 50 lakh crore from 2018-30

Shares of companies related to Railway sector gained after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her budget proposal has announced that Railways will require investment of Rs 50 lakh crore from 2018-30.

Titagarh Wagons is currently trading at Rs 62.30, up by 0.85 points or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs 61.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 61.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs 62.70 and Rs 60.40 respectively. So far 57029 shares were traded on the counter.

Cimmco is currently trading at Rs 25.90, up by 0.10 points or 0.39% from its previous closing of Rs 25.80 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 26.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 26.45 and Rs 25.90 respectively. So far 4894 shares were traded on the counter.

J Kumar Infraproject is currently trading at Rs 154.45, up by 1.20 points or 0.78% from its previous closing of Rs 153.25 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 155.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 155.60 and Rs 152.50 respectively. So far 2083 shares were traded on the counter.
