Piramal Enterprises rises on completing repurchase of NCDs

Piramal Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 1866.35, up by 16.65 points or 0.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 1849.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1841.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1890.00 and Rs. 1826.50 respectively. So far 24513 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2795.95 on 01-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1651.80 on 07-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1905.35 and Rs. 1742.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 37244.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.62% and 16.27% respectively.

Piramal Enterprises has repurchased 4,500 Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of the 9,000 Secured, Redeemable, NCDs having face value of Rs 10 lakh each, issued by the company on November 21, 2018 and listed on Wholesale Debt Market Segment of NSE. This is in accordance with the consent received from the Debenture Holders and Debenture Trustee.

Consequent to the above and the earlier redemption / repurchase, all the Debentures have now been redeemed / repurchased and the above ISIN will be extinguished.
