Agucha, August 14 (Udaipur Kiran): Hindustan Zinc’s CSR projects are not only contributing to community and infrastructure development but also generating employment opportunities, said Asind MLA Jabbar Singh Sankhla while inaugurating development works worth over ₹6.5 crore in Rampura Agucha and nearby areas. Addressing the event as chief guest, Sankhla praised Hindustan Zinc’s quality infrastructure projects, stating that the Rampura Agucha mine is playing a key role in enriching local communities alongside providing jobs and CSR-led growth.
₹6.5 Crore Development Works Inaugurated
At the event held in Agucha, Hindustan Zinc Limited inaugurated several infrastructure and community development projects in Agucha and surrounding villages under its CSR programme ‘Samadhan’ and other social development schemes. These initiatives aim to improve the living standards of local communities.
Key Projects
The inaugurated projects include an animal feed unit at Mulji ka Kheda under CSR Samadhan, a newly constructed Rampura community centre, and the development of Agucha square with a bus stand and CC road under CSR infrastructure works. Three new classrooms have been built at Agucha Girls’ School, and a community centre has been set up under the Hindustan Zinc Agucha Mine Workers’ Union Labour Welfare Fund. At Bherukheda-1 School, two classrooms, separate boys’ and girls’ toilets, and a tin prayer shed have been constructed. In Devpura village, a 750-metre CC road and a new classroom at the primary school have been built, while Kotdi village has received a 2.5-kilometre gravel road.
