HDFC soars on reporting 27% rise in Q4 net profit

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) is currently trading at Rs. 1968.00, up by 36.85 points or 1.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 1931.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1930.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1982.80 and Rs. 1920.55 respectively. So far 124399 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2070.60 on 08-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1646.00 on 23-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2008.90 and Rs. 1901.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 339295.31 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 89.11% and 10.89% respectively.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has reported a rise of 26.80% in its net profit at Rs 2,861.58 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 2,256.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.29% at Rs 11,586.58 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 9,322.36 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has posted a fall of 12.11% in its net profit at Rs 9,632.46 crore as compared to Rs 10,959.34 crore for the previous year. However, total income of company increased 6.56% at Rs 43,378.01 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 40,707.49 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 34.09% in its net profit at Rs 17,580.51 crore as compared to Rs 13,111.21 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased by 20.52% at Rs 96,194.87 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 79,819.60 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
