Essel Propack surges on receiving repayment of Inter Corporate Deposit

Essel Propack is currently trading at Rs. 124.45, up by 2.10 points or 1.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 122.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 122.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 125.75 and Rs. 121.20 respectively. So far 5437 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 144.53 on 13-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 85.00 on 28-Nov-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 125.75 and Rs. 112.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3916.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.78% and 23.18% respectively.

Essel Propack has received an amount of Rs 30.7 crore towards repayment of outstanding dues of Inter corporate deposit. With the said payment, the company has received and realised the total amount of Rs 96 crore against inter corporate deposit with entity.

Essel Propack is a flagship company of the Essel group is a producer of plastic packaging material in the form of multilayer collapsible tubes and laminates used primarily for packaging of toothpaste, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, household and industrial products.
