Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture (JV) — VE Commercial Vehicles has reported sales of 8676 units in March 2019, as compared to 9411 units in March 2018, recording a decline of 7.8%. This includes 8545 units of Eicher brand and 131 units of Volvo brand.
Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded total sales of 8545 units in March 2019, as compared to 9245 units in the year-ago month, down 7.6%. In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 7329 units in March 2019, as compared to 7980 units in March 2018, representing a decline of 8.2%. On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 1216 units in March 2019 as compared to 1265 units in March 2018, representing a decline of 3.9%.
