Kolkata, Mar 10 : The EPC India chairman Mahesh Desai has welcomed the government decision to extend the interest equalisation scheme for exporters till March 2024 ” We welcome the Government decision to extend the interest equalisation scheme for exporters till March 2024,” Desai said in a statement. He said it will provide a level-playing field especially to MSME ts in the global markets. It will also ensure certainty and predictability to exporters who have been facing various challenges such as high freight rates and a surge in input costs. He also warned that the latest Russia-Ukraine crisis has created uncertainty in the minds of the exporting comm ty as it threatens to disrupt the ongoing recovery. PC KK
