Adani Transmission jumps on incorporating WOS company

Adani Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 1013.00, up by 36.95 points or 3.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 976.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 994.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1020.00 and Rs. 987.20 respectively. So far 58705 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4238.55 on 16-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 630.00 on 01-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1020.00 and Rs. 856.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 108877.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.10% and 2.72% respectively.

Adani Transmission has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) company in the name of ‘Adani Electricity Aurangabad’ on March 15, 2023. The said WOS has been incorporated for applying parallel distribution license in Aurangabad area.

Adani Transmission is a holding company. The company operates as a power transmission company. It is engaged in transmission of electric energy and trading of castor oil.
