Gujarat Borosil soars on setting up additional furnace of 210 TPD for production of solar glass

Gujarat Borosil is currently trading at Rs. 84.00, up by 1.60 points or 1.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 82.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 84.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 85.45 and Rs. 83.50 respectively. So far 6843 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘X’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 142.40 on 06-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 81.00 on 24-Jun-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 86.75 and Rs. 81.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 575.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.95%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.07% and 24.98% respectively.

Gujarat Borosil has set up new additional furnace of 210 TPD for production of solar glass at its existing plant in Bharuch District of Gujarat. The company has started trial production on June 24, 2019.

Gujarat Borosil is engaged in the manufacture of finest quality sheet glass in the country. The company in due course plans to enter into the manufacture of Float Glass, reflective glass and other end products with commitment to provide best value for money to their esteemed customers.
