Tata Motors has officially launched its highly anticipated all-electric flagship SUV, the Tata Harrier EV, in India at an introductory price of ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). In a recent statement, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), confirmed that the company will reveal the prices for the higher variants before the end of June. He emphasized that the pricing strategy across the range—including the much-talked-about Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) variant—will remain competitive and “equally exciting.” This signals Tata’s clear intention to undercut rivals in the premium electric SUV segment while delivering top-tier tech and performance.
All-Wheel Drive Returns to Tata’s Lineup
One of the most notable highlights of the Harrier EV is its QWD (Quad Wheel Drive) system—Tata’s version of AWD—with dual motors mounted on each axle.
